We are located in the heart of the famous Glens of Antrim with our office located in Cushendall village in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Daniel McAlister & Son are the only Estate Agents based in the heart of the Glens and have been here since 1904.
We are a family run business, first founded by Daniel McAlister of 'Glens of Antrim House', an old established Glens family in 1904 (grandfather of the present owner).
He traded up until 1964 when his son, Daniel John took over.
Daniel John successfully grew the business until 1979 when Daniel Gerard, the present owner took over.
The business has grown considerably since the early days. Daniel Gerard's son Daniel John is about to join the ranks of the business.
Daniel John has also gained an extensive knowledge base from working with Daniel Henry, the well known Coleraine Estate Agents and Templeton Robinson Estate Agents, Belfast.
Daniel brings over forty-five year's experience to the business and has an intimate knowledge of property prices and trends in the area. He also has auctioned in many of the livestock markets across Northern Ireland and has a sound knowledge of agricultural sales and lettings.
Deirdre joined the business in 1997 and has gained a sound knowledge of the local property market and has negotiated many deals over the years.
Daniel is a great-grandson of the founder of the business and son of the present proprietor. Daniel has gained valuable experience in the property market and is joining the family business, carrying on the McAlister legacy.
The Daniel McAlister & Son team have many years of experience in property matters all over the North Antrim area and further afield with Daniel senior specialising mainly in the agricultural field.
We are ready to help in all aspects of agricultural sales, lettings, auctions and valuations of livestock, machinery and land.
Deirdre McKendry is skilled at property sales and advice and has also a great knowledge of local property values and demand.
Daniel John McAlister specialises in property lettings and sales negotiating at present, with previous experience in property management.
